The "Max Goes to Schools" Donation Program Kids and educators have been so inspired to read, write, and learn with Max that Big Kid Science author Jeffrey Bennett created a program to provide copies of Big Kid Science books to school libraries and other worthy organizations, so that they can be enjoyed by children who may be unable to afford to buy their own books. Working directly with Administrators and key personnel involved with science education, the Max Goes to Schools donation program has to date placed a combined total of more than 16,000 copies of Big Kid Science books into more than 10,000 elementary schools and other sites.
